been really busy with loads of stuff lately but i'll update due to pressure from my fellow readers. haha! YES I KNOW I'VE BEEN MISSING IN ACTION. heh. everyone's like "fye where have you been?!" or "OMG FYE! so long never see you!" but im back okay. im here lah. im always a call away alrighty! haha. man, why am i acting so popular? lol. anyhow, many many things happened since the last blog entry and that includes the sweeeeeeetest of rememberance.. the SYF! overdued photos of my besties clique outing, fusion! the saf band outing slash the sisters squad slash the exclusives outing (haha, rrrrrright. wth? lol.), and last but quite the very least, my drills, aural and theory final assessment.

gawdddd. being the camwhores we all are, its just hard to pick which photos to be put in the collage. haha! anyw, check out este's red hair! the first thing we all noticed was her reddish-pinkish hair and she said it was for some party thingy at dxo or something? i cant remember. haha. well, its over now and i hope it went well girl! and woohoooo, uni exams finally over eh?
its been ages since i caught up with fidah and khai but we're all still the same. the blur-cockness, the lame-ol-jokes. everything! haha, fidah's also in uni now but khai signed on to the police. im like woah! she said she got into police band. that means, we're both still musicians. heh. musicians are funky bananas.
the two dooods, mateen, my cousin and ilyas, are still serving. same ol' shit tooooo. i just realised we're all in different vocations. one's like a combat worrior (coughs- 2SG), one's a driver and me, you should know what i am. haha. we've concluded that our friendship'll last till the end of life, and thats unquestionable. i love you guys!

last sunday was out with these few people who add joy to my life in training wing. (in no particular order) nikki, guang liang, andrew, aidil, chunkiat! our attempt to complete our display formation nearly failed when we were all distracted with food and our desire to shop! too bad pay wasnt in yet, so we finally sat down and discussed till 10pm. pity a few others werent able to make it - the so-called, what do you call that, happening people (haha, private joke), dragon and jason! 4 more days to POP! hopefully we'll all end up in the same band. how sweeeeeeeeet! and thanks to the entire batch for cooperating in the display formation. thanks for making it all happen. now, to perfect it!
before i move on to syf, id just wanna thank (again) people who helped me with aural all these weeks. thank God too for ive passed not only my aural test, but my drill test too. yay, today was theory final assessment and i think i should be able to do well. lets just wait and see!
so, its...
"Band Number 15, Anglo-Chinese Junior College...
.
Gold with Honours"this time round. heh! i was jumping and shouting with joy on the way out of camp on friday when i heard the results. despite being out of the band, am still a proud senior and darn, how i wished i could be there to share the triumph with them. to my juniors, congrats! you guys've worked really hard. practiced hard, smart and towards the right direction. weeks ago, you'd probably be complaining about the lengthy and uncountable band pracs but hey, your fruits of labour is sweeeeeet! and top band aye? haha, wowsers. im impressed but im not shocked. if we managed to rock sydney with 97 . 97 . 98 points from the three judges, youve proved that we're also capable in doing so here, in our own country. and to dr lee tian tee, im damn bloody proud of you too. my teacher, my friend, my dad. haha. youve shown your worth with both acs i and acjc bands getting gold with honours and emerging as top bands, and acs ib - a pity - yet, so close to gold with honours, was just awesome.
AC BANDS, OWNED ASS! :Dhere's a pic of a few of us acjc band members after syf results 2 years ago. gosh, look at our eyes! heh. anyw, thats right este, tears no more. your seniors are all so proud of you my juniors! ACJC - more than conquerors!

Eunice:
when they came on stage, I was really excited. I saw kristen pop out from the side and said ohmygod it's them. I was nervous because the stupid Safari was like a nail being driven into my skull in the morning when I heard the other bands play. but when I heard my dear acband play, god, I was speechless. ok, no I wasn't. I was bouncing up and down in my seat exclaiming how cool it was. I was left in awe. I was half praying half just gripping my seat throughout the performance. Roman fest was incredible. I was so nervous they might become messy because it was so fast and my heart was racing and I was praying and concentrating on them and sitting on the edge of my seat and leaning forward. but it really was fabulous. acband left an impression on the audience. they really did. I knew they would. they were spectacular.
a few more performances. the judges went to deliberate. during the break I ran down and started rambling to ms leong and dr. lee and ms sng. sometimes when you don't know where to begin, you throw out everything as fast as you can and all at the same time.
after waiting for a painful amount of time, the announcer came out. I was so nervous and twitchy, I asked Sarah to hold my hand. ok, but I was kidding. and after a long list of schools, she finally came to our school.
Anglo-Chinese Junior College. Gold. With Honours.
and even though it wasn't my syf. even if I hadn't really contributed anything, I leaped out of my seat and clapped and cheered. I was so happy to see all of them down there, with enormous smiles on their faces, jumping up and down and exclaiming.
Fary:
and then while we were waiting for our turn to enter, everyone started chattering excitedly, i'm not sure about what anddd thennnn we saw TJ performing on the screen and we were all, okay im not sure about us, but i definitely was watching in awe knowing the kind of reputation TJ band has. i thought both their pieces sounded good. typically good i should say. and then the person scolded us for being noisy and then it was time to go in and we all held our breaths and walked in.
and then.
our tuning note.
and then everyone started smiling at each other knowing that its going to be a good one.
safari came and went. was pretty satisfied. but i'm not sure if i can say the same thing about roman fest. it was either the cold or the nerves or something but my reed got really dry in the middle of the piece and suddenly i began squeaking, which i rarely do, and i panicked, and stopped playing for like a bar or smthg. and during that one bar, when i didnt hear myself but instead heard the band playing, i just felt sooooooooo contented cause we sounded so damn good. so i relaxed and continued playing and everything was fine to the very last bit. and during the whole time, dr lee kept smirking and smiling so widely, at one point, that he actually seemed to be laughing!
Crystal:
it wasnt ever my syf, but i felt so happy for you guys! i remember screaming at ken koh as usual. the ib camp was on the left, and jc camp was on the right. ac was practically all over and we were stoning!
"aye people come on, AC anthem!"
kenneth koh gao ming sheng suddenly steps in between the two brother schools and takes lead. we belted. with all our hearts, we belted. i remember looking kenneth lim in the eye and exchanging smiles. it honestly didnt matter what each school got because at the end of the day, we'd always be one AC - under dr lee.
belting the AC anthem like that felt like being in the sydney opera house all over again. then a random ultra slack ib boy walks past all of us waving. we were amused. but the AC anthem got louder and louder. as usual, all AC anthems end with extremely unbearable loud and ear piercing screams and cheers.
come on IB we love you. come on AC. acs i, acs ib, acjc - one blood.
