this morning, i went for my audiometry check up at the military medicine institute. driving down around the nus/nuh area was such a pain because the road signs were misleading (yes, my car doesnt have gps). i took a good half an hour before i could actually find the correct carpark and still walk quite a distance to reach my destination, in the rain. i still remember telling my mom that she can never get lost in singapore because singapore has the clearest and best directional signs. maybe they're trying to get people to fix gps into everybody's cars. i dont know man.

then, i dropped my 3 friends off at the nearest mrt station and headed to school to collect my A-level cert. it took the admin staff quite a while to look for my folder since i was supposed to collect it more than a year ago. but when he came back to attend to me, he said somebody had already collected it on my behalf and showed me the proof - that person has signed against my name. by this point, my heart almost came to a standstill because there was no way i could trace the signature and find out who took my cert. i felt so captured in discomfort and embarassment for a moment. so many things ran through my mind within that few seconds, like how i wasted my time in school and having to know that my cert vanished, and how i was gonna apply for uni or go for my interviews. damn dramatic, i know. haha.

clearly, i told him to get it checked again because its impossible for such a thing to happen. i mean, who wants my cert? its insanely undesirable. i heard another admin staff saying to him that she really couldnt find it. i kept my fingers and toes crossed and i never thought my cert would mean this much to me, ever. soon, he came out and said he found it. phew!
